Boardwalk Zeppoles is proud to announce its partnership with the ‘I Kick Cancer Charity’ and other local businesses who donated prizes for a charity giveaway. The fundraiser will support one of I Kick Cancer’s families impacted by childhood cancer. Boardwalk Zeppoles was happy to donate three bags of their delicious and mouthwatering treats in support of the giveaway. Our Zeppoles are part of prize number 7.
About Xavier
All proceeds will go to I Kick Cancer’s warrior, Xavier, who recently relapsed for a fourth time. Cancer was recently detected in his cerebrospinal and brain fluids after Xavier began suffering from severe headaches and blurred vision.
Xavier, a Staten Island teenager, is now undergoing weekly lumbar punctures with triple chemotherapy. He was also referred to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) to determine if he is eligible for any clinical trials. Xavier’s family needs help to pay for upcoming medical expenses and getting him over to CHOP for further treatment.
